- ADF Long Tan Award
The Australian Defence Force Long Tan award is awarded to a member of the Year 12 Viewbank College community who has demonstrated leadership and teamwork within the college and the broader community, and who displayed strong personal ethical values. - ADF Future Innovators award
The Australian Defence Force Future Innovators Awards formally recognise students who have demonstrated motivation and innovation in the areas of STEM, and who display strong personal ethical values, such as doing one’s best. - VCE Leadership Award
The VCE Leadership Awards recognise VCE students’ important and innovative community work and highlight examples of exemplary leadership. - Viewbank College Ethos
The winner of the Viewbank College Ethos award is awarded to a student who has demonstrated a commitment to the core values of College, and imbodies the inclusive philosophy of the pledge. - Ampol All Rounder award
The Ampol Best All Rounder acknowledges a student in Year 12 who has made consistent positive contributions in their final year of secondary schooling - Leslie Moris Award

2 students are nominated per year level to receive this award. Students who receive this award have shown outstanding contribution throughout the year to the Music program.

The Jaga Jaga resilience award is sponsored by the office of local member Kate Thwaits is awarded to a Viewbank College student (any year level) who has shown the capacity to adapt and respond to challenges throughout the year.
