Viewbank College is looking forward to another great year of teaching and learning, and we would like to advise you of the Viewbank College’s voluntary financial contributions for 2026.
Schools provide students with free instruction to fulfil the standard curriculum requirements, and we want to assure you that all contributions are voluntary. Our College is proud of the quality of our facilities and resources available for our students to enjoy., and few schools match the numerous programs we offer to cater for students’ needs and interests. However, these do not come without extra cost.
Each year Viewbank College parents show positive support for the College through parent payments. This has made a huge difference to our school and the programs we can offer. This support has led to considerable improvements being carried out, in 2023, the new school funded VCE Centre was completed and fully furnished, creating a unique facility for our senior students to study and collaborate.
The College Council seeks your support with the following contributions as together we can make a difference in the programs, facilities, and services provided to best support student learning.

Methods of Payment & Statement of Accounts
Viewbank College offers various ways to pay family accounts. Families can pay their child’s account via Compass, Bpay, over the phone with credit card or at the General Office.

COMPASS Community Portal
Parents are encouraged to use the Compass Portal for all payments.
For events please ensure that you give consent online and pay by the due date as the system will lock you out after this date.
BPAY Facility
Viewbank College has BPAY to assist parents in meeting their financial obligations. Below are the guidelines for which BPAY will be applicable:
- The Biller Code and Reference No. are located on your Statement.
- BPAY can be used to pay whole accounts or a specific charge, eg. School excursion.
- Where parents elect to pay through BPAY instalments please email accounts@viewbank.vic.edu.au to advise how your payment is to be allocated.
Voluntary items will not be allocated without confirmation from families.
- A Bpay payment generally takes 2 business days to come through to the School’s bank account and the Biller Code will be DET

CSEF (Camps, Sports and Excursions fund)
The Department of Education administers the CSEF to help eligible families with the costs of camps, sporting activities and excursions. Payments are made directly to an eligible student’s school.
To be eligible* for the fund, a mature minor of sixteen years of age or over, a parent or legal guardian of a student attending a registered Government or non-government Victorian primary or secondary school must:
- on the first day of Term one or on the first day of Term two,
- Be an eligible beneficiary within the meaning of the State Concessions Act 2004, that is, be a holder of Veterans Affairs Gold Card or be an eligible Centrelink Health Care Card (HCC) or Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) holder, OR
- Be a temporary foster parent, and;
- Submit an application to the school by the due date.
* A special consideration eligibility category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families.
The CSEF amount per student (2026) is $400. The application process closes at the end of the term two.
Please contact the school office for an application form. The completed form can be returned to the office in person or by email, together with a copy of your card, as soon as possible so that we can begin accessing the funds on your behalf.
Existing families who received CSEF last year and still qualify for this year have had their applications automatically renewed. However, if you have a child starting Year 7 in 2026 who wasn’t included in last year’s application, please notify the school office. Please note that your application from your child(ren)’s primary school will not roll over to Viewbank College. A new application is required to be submitted.
