Camps

Viewbank College acknowledges the learning opportunities for students when they participate in activities outside the school. All Year 7 and Year 8 students attend a 3-day, 2-night adventure camp where they participate in activities to challenge and extend themselves.

Our Year 9 students participate in the city experience program called LEAD, which allows students to focus on learning, exploring and appreciating how to develop Melbourne as a city.

The school also offers an optional Central Australia trip every two years for our Year 9 and 10 students.

Outdoor Education

The Year 10 program includes a range of outdoor experiences, including an overnight hike.  Students plan and prepare for the experience, developing essential leadership, commination and resilience skills.

Students completing VCE Outdoor and Environmental studies participate in a 3-day camp to Wilsons Promontory National Park, giving them vital insights into relationships with the environment, linking to key outcomes throughout the year.
