Camps

Viewbank College provides an extensive camp program. The program offers a range of experiences, aimed at fostering teamwork, cooperation, leadership and organisational skills. 

The range of camps and activities offered include:

  • Year 7 Camp: a 3 day/2 night adventure camp in Alexandra
  • Year 8 Camp: a 3 day/2 night adventure camp in Merricks
  • Year 9 Camp: Students participate in the city experience called LEAD, which allows students to focus on learning, exploring and appreciating how to develop Melbourne as a city
  • Year 9 & 10: an optional Central Australia Trip (offered every two years)
  • Year 12 Leadership Camp
  • A music camp offered to members of the Instrumental Music Program 
  • A range of subject and fieldwork camps, including Duke of Edinburgh (Bronze).
