The college undertakes a program for Year 9 students including a camp in the last week of June, a group research project as part of the City Experience in August and a Reduce the Risk program in December. In Term 4, students undertake their first formal examination experience. Students are also provided with a Primer Program for transition into Year 10 and which includes a strong health and well-being focus.
The Year 9 Handbook gives parents and students an overview of the program delivered at Viewbank for Year 9 students. The curriculum is outlined along with general information around the key people to contact and expectations of the students. The Year 9 student handbook is available to the school community through compass documents.
